the story here is I was once on the phone with my dad, maybe 2022-2023, and he said "I know u wont like this but nobody lives without noise". he was referring to the heavy parts of living that we cannot control. & although that was heartbreaking, it was a true, and it gave me a breathe of air that I needed. I called my first album noise* pollution, I refer to my songs are noise pieces, I called myself a noise artist haha. it kinda became a thing.

there'll only ever be 21 of these beige ones. i've owned my sample of this hat for a year at least now, and I luv it, its one of my favourite pieces. this the first artist gift shop product I ever came up with btw. so im doing 20 to honour that. $100 is crzy I know, inflation is wild. but u pay once n u get this collectible forever. everything is a 30-50$ monthly subscription now.

encouraged for customization. I got paint on mine & added a peacock sterling silver pin. I will customize each of the 20 hats somehow. it is so cathartic for some rzn to draw on ur own clothes so I'd recommend it.. when all of these exist in the wild, none of em should look the same. add a patch, draw a lil sumthn, set it on fire tastefully, wild out to the max.

inspired by the painter's working pants. when a painter paints, they generally wipe it on their clothes. intended to glorify the creation process.

one of the custom painted pants I've made was recently in a Nelly Furtado x Canada soccer x boi1da music video for the World Cup 2026 campaign. u can own one too if u want. I was wearing another pair but I hid in the very back of the video, so u can't rlly see em haha.

why I make these.. cuz it’s super childish n free. & wearing em is swaggy as hell.

paint on clothes is generally considered a fk up. It culturally isn’t in high fashion, other than kidsuper. i feel like ppl r usually fine wit quirked up tops. culturally, only paint-related clothing that caught on, was ppl painting on jean jackets. but that was still very poster like, ppl wanted anime characters n rappers.

u only see an artist in their painted pants with multi-coloured splatters and smudges. or a construction painter in pants smudged with paint. it’s generally considered a work thing. it’s meant to look bad, cuz they’re working.

then I started making these things, and the inquisitive reaction from ppl passing me was rly interesting. I found it cool that I can make ppl curious or confused, give them a talking point with their friends, just by walking by them on the street.

my sister just got a sewing machine, and started making clothes. she made her own graduation outfit (she's a biomedical engineer!!!), she made me these fireee jorts with hella pockets. so we'll make these together. she would do it for free, she will freak out when she finds out how much im selling these for.

price justification - I tallied up the highest bids from my holly's cafe gallery in Kitchener, & it totalled $678 CAD. I believe there's been more bids since, but I like the number so we're going with it.

i will include a hanging mechanism so u can hang it up nicely on a curtain rod or something else fun, arab art style.

size will be roughly same size as the al-gore-rhythm one. 1 canvas will be 6x5ft. another like 5x5ft. neither of em is painted is yet.

the reason im doing mystery painting is because I would always hear stories about how artists could get to a point where ppl r buying their paintings before they made em. i'm grateful enough to be at a place where i've heard "can I get a painting" a lot. & that's lovely. I think it would be cool if a couple of ppl trust me enough to buy something before I made it.

i will include a hanging mechanism so u can hang it up nicely on a curtain rod, arab art style. or stretch it on a canvas urself (but that's boring as hell, dont do that.)
